TXT
The only format every computer understands.
Where it came from
Plain text is not really a "format" — it is the absence of one. A .txt file is just bytes interpreted as characters, readable by every operating system since the 1960s. Its superpower is longevity: no app, no version, no license required.
Everything else is a bet that some software will still exist to read it. TXT is the fallback that always wins.
How it works
The only real question is encoding: ASCII (7-bit), Latin-1, Windows-1251, or UTF-8 (the modern default that handles every script). A .txt with the wrong encoding shows mojibake.
UWC converts plain text to DOCX and PDF (and back from DOCX/PDF to text) on the server, preserving your words while you stay in the browser.
Convert TXT
TXT → DOCX/PDF for sharing, or extract text from DOCX/PDF — server-side, your file stays private.
