SQL dumps
Databases exported as INSERT statements.
Where it came from
As long as relational databases existed, people needed to move data out of them. Dump utilities (mysqldump, pg_dump, sqlite .dump) emit plain-text SQL — a de-facto interchange format nobody formally standardized but everyone depends on.
How it works
A dump contains DDL (`CREATE TABLE users (id INT, name TEXT)` — column names live here) and DML (`INSERT INTO users VALUES (1, 'Ann'), (2, NULL)` — the rows).
Parsing it properly means handling quoted strings with escaped quotes (`''`), NULL literals, numeric and boolean literals — no actual database required.
UWC regex-parses the dump structure in pure JS (no GPL SQLite bindings), reconstructing typed rows as JSON or CSV.
Convert SQL dumps
Dump → JSON/CSV for analysis — parsed locally, your schema never leaves the machine.
